What could be better than bananas, ice cream and rum?
- 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 4 bananas peeled and sliced
- 3 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/4 c dark rum
- 2 tbsp. orange liqueur
- 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
- Melt the butter in a wok over moderate heat.
- Add the bananas and sugar; stir-fry until the sugar melts, about 1 minute.
- Add the rum and orange liqueur; boil 30 seconds.
- Pour over ice cream scooped into individual serving dishes.
